About This Workshop
Use the coptic bookbinding technique to stitch together your very own journal! Design your own covers and choose between lined, watercolor, sketchbook, and dotted paper pages to create the journal of your dreams.
What You'll Do & Take Home
Each student will create a custom 6x9 journal with up to 144 pages. Materials will be provided to design the front and back covers and stitch the journals together. There will be a selection of prepped page bundles (lined, watercolor, sketchbook, and dotted), of which everyone may choose up to 12 and order however they see fit. While class won't go through the entire process of coptic bookbinding start to finish, everyone will learn the stitching process and be able to take home their completed journal, along with documentation of the prep steps.
